In this crazy world we live in, we are faced with tough choices every single day. We choose whether or not to indulge in foods that are not necessarily supporting our best selves on a regular basis - or maybe just once in a while, or on a special occasion. We choose whether or not we will invest in ourselves by taking time to get moderate exercise on a regular basis. And we choose what ingredients we allow into our homes through products that we use. Some of these choices are not easy - but when you make the ones that best align with your wellness intentions, it's worth the effort!
I know I shouldn't eat sugar, but I do love it - so I allow myself to do it on occasion - just not on the regular!
I know I should get moderate exercise every single day - but lately it is more and more difficult to take the time to actually do it - A promise I have made to myself is that I will get at least 30 minutes (or more) of walking in 4-5 times a week. (Every day is even better).
I know that products we use every single day are full of harmful, harsh chemical ingredients and hormone disruptors - and I do everything in my power to eliminate them from my home. These are some of the worst offenders in our attempts to maintain a higher level of wellness, and it's because they are everywhere - and we assume they must be safe, or they wouldn't be on the shelves..... WRONG!
It may take a little getting used to, but you absolutely must take the time to learn to read labels and understand what is actually in the products that you choose to use and expose yourself and your family to every single day! The cumulative effect of these products on your body is astounding, and it's time you owned being the Gatekeeper of your home by not bringing them into your life!
